Waaaayyy north in British Columbia we stopped at an amazing place, the Liard Hot Springs. What a relaxing detour on our long journey through Canada. I can't describe how beautiful this place is, and how fortunate I feel to have been here in the middle of winter.

I stopped there on both of my journey's through Canada and it was awesome. I can't imagine how much more incredible it must be in the winter.
i've heard about this place many times. sounds amazing. and these are the first pics i've seen of it too, so thanks. i've gotta go. how far from anchorage is this? can i borrow the van for a long weekend?
